Design of the product for additive manufacturing
Ritterová, Diana ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of an orthopedic insole with emphasis on breathability and support of a longitudial arch. The insole can be manufactured by using 3D printing technology FFF from a flexible plastic TPU filament. The shape of the insole is based on the contour of a foot. The inner structure was designed in the Grasshopper plug-in and then added to the shape of the insole in Rhinoceros.
Paved road structures and their distresses
Vlk, Radomír ; Dašková, Jaroslava (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to realize the basic characteristics of block paving, to specify theirs advantages and limitations and to suggest their repairs on particular examples of road damages.
Prodyšnost polymerních materiálů ve výrobě nábytku a jejich hedonické působení
Capíková, Alena
This work is focused on verifying the permeability and olfactometric assessment of emissions from selected polymeric foam materials and foam rubber. The olfactometric assessment is based on the analysis of identified and identified volatile organic compounds. The research was conducted by taking samples of the emissions from a small-space sampling chamber. Emissions were analyzed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry and their assessment by the assessor was performed by dynamic olfactometry. The work was supplemented by designing its own experimental procedure of mechanical stress of foam materials and changes in climatic conditions in the air-conditioning chamber in connection with release of emissions. Standard testing procedures according to European standards (EN ISO 16000-9, ČSN 13725 and EN ISO 7231) have been used to test these properties. The aim of the work is to verify selected properties of polymeric foam materials ? permeability and olfactometric assessment related to the analysis of volatile organic compounds. It also involves permeability is a change in breathability, depending on mechanical stress and release of emissions influencing given properties in terms of time, mechanical stress, and changing climatic conditions.

Prodyšnost PUR pěn používaných k výrobě čalouněného nábytku
Poláčková, Lenka
The presented thesis deals with the problematic of upholstered furniture. The theoretical part deals with the distribution of upholstered furniture, including its history, commonly used materials and technologies used from those historical to contemporary ones. The thesis also describes today's production of polyurethane foams, supplemented by a production scheme. The experimental part of the work is focused on identifying practical identification of breathability of polyurethane foams, which was performed by the METEFEM, type FF-12/A machine. This machine is a part of the test equipment in the furniture laboratory at Mendel University in Brno. An integral part of this thesis is the evaluation of the findings and their contribution to practice.
